Victorian Orienteering Training Camp for 8-18 Year Olds, June Long Weekend, Daylesford

The 3 day training camp will be focused on junior athletes aged 8-18 and part of the Victorian Rebel or Raiders Squads. The Victorian schools team for the ASOC events in Queensland would also have been selected and this will also be a good opportunity for the team to get together.

Accommodation: No accommodation will be organised by OV, however we recommend booking at the Daylesford Holiday Park. Due to the long weekend there is a 3-night minimum in many locations including this caravan park so you will need to book for Friday night also.

The training will be utilising three local Orienteering events- please enter via Eventor.
Saturday 7th June Vic Series 4 – Sailors Diggings, Daylesford
Sunday 8th June Vic Series 5 – Chapel Flat, Creswick
Monday 9th June – 2 person relay, Tipperary Springs, Daylesford.
We also aim to have additional activities in the late afternoon, stay tuned.
All participants will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cost: Free training. Usual entry fees for Vic Series 4 and 5, and Ballarat series event.

Bonus – Expression of interest for NightO – prequel to the Vic Rebels/Raiders training camp on Friday 6th June.

NightO will be organised on Friday night in Daylesford Park but only if we know that people are coming. The sooner you enter the better.
