Park Street Update, April 28-May 4

Wow, gotta love this Autumn weather – perfect, and set to continue for a while yet, so make the most of it and get out there with a map!  For CakeO fans it’s great news – Saturday Series is back this week at delightful Diamond Creek.

Then the following Saturday, it’s time to challenge yourself with the Sheep Stations EndurO.  This is on Saturday May 9, starting from the east end of Shepherd Road in Glen Waverley.  The course features 40 controls on a double sided map, and will include Nortons Park, Napier Park, the streets of Shepherds Bushed, and some controls west of Gallaghers Road, with spectacular views.  Can you score a maximum 1400 points?  You can choose a 120 minute Run, a 90 minute Run, or a 120 minute Power Walk, to put yourself to the ultimate test.  Mass start at 2pm for all courses.  Saturday passes and Multipasses are valid, and for non pass holders, entry is just $6 for adults and $4 for juniors.  And your results count towards the overall series score!  Please bring a plate of something yummy for afternoon tea – you’ll have earned a reward!

Here are this week’s events:
Tuesday 28 April – Essendon Station, starting from the corner of Rose and Miller Streets, Essendon
Wednesday 29 April – Camberwell, starting from Cooper Reserve, east end of Granville Street, with extra parking on Green Street
Saturday 2 May – Diamond Creek North, starting from Nillumbik Park, Elizabeth Street
