Park Street Update, September 29-October 4

If you are using a Garmin watch, and MapRun has updated on your phone to the new version, BEFORE LOADING THIS WEEK’S EVENT, YOU MUST

·       Go into the settings menu, and scroll down to GPS watch mode
·       Click “Garmin Logout”.  Then log back in using your Garmin Connect account. Tip:  record your Garmin ID before logging out!

Doing this after your run will not recover your result and MapRun will not work properly again until you do this. You’ll need to submit a card in order to get a result.

This Wednesday is the final Spring Carnival series, at Bayswater, starting from Bayswater Village, cnr Station Street and Pine Road.  Presentations for Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday Series will be held during the first week of Summer Series. Finally I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been looking after streeto over the past weeks. I will be back on deck this week.

The first Summer Series events are:

• Sun Oct 4 – Martha Cove, starting from Hidden Harbour Marina car park, Island Drive, Safety Beach
• Mon Oct 5 – Not Notting Hill, starting from Mayfield Park, Mayfield Drive, Mount Waverley
• Tue Oct 6 – Whitten Oval, starting from Whitten Avenue, West Footscray
• Wed Oct 7 – Dandenong Creek, starting from H E Parker Reserve, Heathmont Road, Heathmont
• Thu Oct 8 – Mount Eagle, starting from Chelsworth Park, southern end of Irvine Road, Ivanhoe
