Summer Shorts and Sprints – That’s A Wrap!

Race 5 at Pipemakers Park, Maribyrnong

We enjoyed a completely new map of this amazing area (thanks Joe!), nestled between Highpoint Shopping Centre and the Maribyrnong River, and previously used for the very first Sprint Into Spring, over 10 years ago.  It features a mix of parkland with some complex gardens and industrial heritage sections, and unlike the other SSAS races this year, it has a significant hill to climb and descend.  Those who kept their focus were rewarded, as there were many places to make errors.  Click here to see the Results, Splits, and Livelox maps.

Congratulations to today’s winners – James Robertson, Aislinn Prendergast, Dion Keech, Nicole Williams, Ellie Keech and Aleks Lahde.

The Mad Dash winners today were James Robertson, Victoria Greenhan, Dion Keech, Nicole Williams, Takumi Okabe, and Ellie Keech. Your prizes will be waiting for you at the Victorian Sprint Champs on November 30 at RMIT Bundoora.

Check the final Series Standings here.   Best 4 scores were counted, resulting in some changes to the leaderboard after today’s race.  Congratulations to the overall winners:-
