SUMMER SERIES – OCTOBER TO APRIL (daylight savings)

Four evenings a week all over Melbourne from October to March, as well as shorter local series in Geelong, Mornington Peninsula and Surfside.  Register and pay at the event.  Running courses range from 3-10 km, and there is a 60 minute power walking course.  For runners the format is Scatter (visit a designated number of controls in any order, first back wins), and for power walkers the format is Score format (visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, highest points score wins).

Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing.  Bring a watch and a drink.  Cost:  $5 per event for adults, $3 for juniors (under 21)

All events use the MapRun smartphone app.  Download the app, and bring your smartphone or Garmin watch.  Instructions available at the events.  Traditional control cards are provided as an alternative, except at Tuesday, Geelong and Surfside events.

Three nights a week, and most Saturday afternoons, all over Melbourne.  Choose either a 45 minute or 60 minute running course, or a 60 minute power walking course.  All courses are Score format, where you visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, with the aim of earning as many points as possible.

Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing. Bring a watch, a drink, and a torch for night events.  Cost:  $5 per event for adults, $3 for juniors (under 21)
