WINTER SERIES – APRIL TO OCTOBER (non daylight savings)

Three nights a week, and most Saturday afternoons, all over Melbourne.  Choose either a 45 minute or 60 minute running course, or a 60 minute power walking course.  All courses are Score format, where you visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, with the aim of earning as many points as possible.

Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing. Bring a watch, a drink, and a torch for night events.  Cost:  $5 per event for adults, $3 for juniors (under 21)

The Tuesday and Geelong Summer Series use the MapRun smartphone app.  Download the app, and bring your iPhone or android (or borrow one from the organisers).  Instructions available at the events.

SUMMER SERIES – OCTOBER TO APRIL (daylight savings)

Four evenings a week all over Melbourne, and local series in Macedon, Geelong and the Surf Coast.  Register from 6.30pm for a 7pm mass start. Running courses range from 3.5-10 km, and there is a 60 minute power walking course.  For runners the format is Scatter (visit a designated number of controls in any order, first back wins), and for power walkers the format is Score format (visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, highest points score wins).

Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing.  Bring a watch and a drink.  Fresh fruit is provided at most Summer Series events.  Cost:  $5 per event for adults, $3 for juniors (under 21)
