Double Down This Weekend in Sandon

Why settle for one adventure when you can have two?
On the weekend of August 30/31, Bayside Kangaroos Orienteering Club is inviting you to Double Down in Sandon – a weekend packed with twice the challenge, twice the fun and a stunning backdrop of Sandon’s historic bushland.

Event 1 – Mountain Bike Orienteering – Series #4
Saturday 30th August

Grab your wheels and hit the trails. Navigate your way along fast forest roads, undulating terrain and a few single tracks. Every twist and turn is a chance to prove you’ve got the double skills – speed and smarts. The shorter courses are family-friendly and perfect for first-time riders.

Event 2 – Foot Orienteering – State Series #8
Sunday 31st August

Swap pedals for pace. On foot, you’ll discover new routes and unexpected challenges, putting your double endurance and navigation skills to the test.
There are five Line courses on offer (hard to easy) plus a 2-hour Score course.

Presentations will be at 13.00
Entry Fee for Vic Series Event
$25 for O club members
$12 for junior members
Additional $5 for casual/nonmembers
EOD will be possible if maps are available
