Vic Series 7, Sunday August 17, Nuggety Range, Maldon – Diamonds Are Forever Here at MFR, we love to innovate with our events and for this event, we’ve organised a special treat for Courses 1 & 2 – a mass start event with the first use of a ‘diamond’ forking system in an event in Australia (that we know of). This course setting format was popularised by the great Thierry Gueorgiou (14-time World Champion and arguably the best course setter in the world right now), and provides plenty of variations for the mass start participants. Nuggety Range has previously been used for two long distance championship events, but this is the first time that it has been used for a middle distance event. We’ll be starting on the top of the ridge (with spectacular views!) before descending into the spectacular granite below the Rock of Ages outcrop. Course lengths, driving directions, and other important information is on Eventor. Event Information and Online Entry: Click here There will be Pretex maps, a TV screen for results, and prizes. These include a random draw prize for pre-entered competitors. Please get your entries in before the cutoff date of 14 August, 11:59pm. On the day entry will be available, due to mobile data restrictions: cash preferred but invoice (pay later) will be available. There will be a cake stall to support the Victorian Junior Squad, with cheese toasties, cakes, drinks and more. Card welcome if there is phone reception! Please be aware that no spikes are to be used in the arena. This includes tent pegs, flag spikes, etc which you will need to weigh down. Share this
