Summer Shorts and Sprints Series Winners!

The final series scores have been tallied after the 6th and last event in the 2024 Summer Shorts and Sprints Series.  After a series of full-on competition where the top three placings changed hands multiple times, we now have our Top Three for all courses.

Series Standings – see all the scores

  • Course 1 Men – Matthew Layton, Bruce Arthur, Mason Arthur
  • Course 1 Women – Keely Williams, Victoria Greenhan, Ella Maja Lang
  • Course 2 Men – Geoff Armstrong, Steven O’Connell, Opus Greenhan
  • Course 2 Women – Sarah Love, Shannon Williams, Philippa Lohmeyer-Collins
  • Course 3 Men – Eofy Greenhan
  • Course 3 Women – Lisa Draper

Some stats:

  • 870 participants; 116 Kids Ran Free
  • 304 people did at least one SSAS event
  • 32 people did at least 4 events and qualified for the overall results
  • 11 people did all 6 events! Plus one who would have, but he was a course planner
  • Courses 1 and 2 had five different winners, and Course 3 had six different winners! Hence the series scores were tight right until the end
