Peta Whitford Farewelled; Awards Announced

Peta Whitford was farewelled in fine style at the OV AGM, with a large turnout of friends and colleagues coming along to hear stories and wish her well in retirement.  Members also elected a new President and Secretary to the Board.

The annual Awards were announced, with congratulations to our highly deserving winners, whose names now appear on the Awards page:

Services Award – Ian Dodd (DRV) the first person to receive this award twice

Rockhopper Junior Awards – Asha Steer (DRV), Aston Key (MFV)

Event of the Year Award – Victorian Relays (Nicola Dalheim and Natasha Key, MFV)

Course Setter of the Year Sprint Distance and Overall – Sarah Davies (DRV) – YVGS Sprint Double Race 1

Course Setter of the Year Middle Distance – Roch Prendergast (EUV) – Petticoat Gully

Course Setter of the Year Long Distance – Darren Eenjes and Daryl Fleay (BGV) – Mt Korong
