Park Street Update, September 9-15

Hopefully you will soon be able to pick up a Summer Series fixture, and start planning all those events you’ll be going to from October until March!  You can also see the events online, by going to https://www.vicorienteering.asn.au/gfolder/parkstreet/fixtures/upcoming.html.
Season tickets will be on sale to club members for the first 3 weeks – find out more.

Hopefully some milder weather and longer daylight hours has you thinking about Summer Series, starting in a few weeks’ time. The best way to get prepped and hit the ground running – or power walking – is to come along to the final few Spring events.  Next Saturday is the second last CakeO, at the wonderful Bundoora Park. Fun fact – Mt Cooper is the highest point in Melbourne (and there is always a high pointer up there). Enter the park from Plenty Road, and follow Orienteering signs to parking. Register from 1.30pm, start at 2pm.

Weeknight events are at Mont Albert on Wednesday 10 September, starting from Balwyn Community Centre on Whitehorse Road; then Waverley Parklands on Monday 15 September, starting from Gladeswood Reserve in Mulgrave.  Find out more at www.vicorienteering.asn.au/parkstreet
