MEFTY Results in a Tie

The 2021 MEFTY (Most Events for the Year) award is a tie, for the first time in its history!  Joint winners are Stuart McWilliam (DRV) and Steve O’Connell (BKV), who both attended a massive 129 events between November 2020 and July 2021.  Once again, the season was truncated by covid lockdowns, with 4 months lost.

Both have previously had their names on the MEFTY trophy before; this is Stuart’s fourth win, and Steven’s third.

Runners-up were Peter Yeates (DRV) on 95 events, Lauris Stirling (NEV) on 93 events, and Michael Hubbert (BKV), also on 93 events.  Congratulations!!
