Park Street Champs – All The Results!

WEDNESDAY – STIRLING HILL, Jan 29

The Park Street Champs were held at Stirling Hill on Mitcham.  Ilze Yeates set a great course that was both physically and mentally challenging, providing a true test of the best.  Congratulations to all the winners, whose names are now recorded on the Champs Honour Board.

Mens Running –

James Robertson cruised to an easy win on Mens Open.  Bruce Arthur, winner of many previous Open titles, moved to Seniors this year and took a comfortable victory.  Steven O’Connell powered home to win Veterans, Ian Dodd finished well ahead of the other Supervets, and Jim Taylor headed a record field of 10 in Ultravets.

Womens Running –

It was another victory for Victoria Greenhan on Womens Open.  Rachel Johnson, another mover to Seniors, had a close win there, while Carolyn Jackson took out another Supervet win.

Juniors –

Aeon Greenhan had an uncontested win in the junior category, while Opus Greenhan made it three Golds for the family, in the subjunior category – his first win.

Power Walking –

Dave Stillwell won his 11th consecutive Mens Open PW title, while Lisa Draper earned gold in Womens Open PW.  Ian Greenwood also added to his strong of victories in Mens Supervet PW.  Liz Hatley won her first Womens Supervet title in a really close contest.
