Vic MTBO Champs Weekend, 12-13 April

The 2025 Victorian MTBO Champs are fast approaching  – the weekend of 12-13 April, based around Castlemaine with Sprint, Middle and Long distance events. These championships will also be the first round of the National MTBO series and selection trials for the Australian World Champs team.

The events are all set and in readiness for a wonderful weekend of MTBO. We already have a good number of interstate riders entered, no doubt taking advantage of combining our Champs with the Australian 3 Days foot O events a few days later at Easter.

We are also hoping for a stronger local entry this year and have made efforts to appeal to those who may find the championships daunting by introducing Adventure Classes. For riders less keen on “championships” or wanting to ride a shorter distance than your age class, one of the “non-championship” Adventure classes might appeal. There are three line course options or a score course for each event. This means you can choose the course length and difficulty that appeals to you. There are also three e-Bike classes.

We want to see more riders enjoying the hard work put in by our organising team in offering three fantastic MTBO events over this weekend.
