Vic MTBO Series and Training, Castlemaine Maldon, 18 and 19 July

Just a few days to go before the Maldon Vic MTBO Series event on Sunday morning 19 July. Combine this with the Castlemaine MTBO Training event on Saturday afternoon at Walmer Forest (FREE but capped at 30 people), and for even more orienteering, take in the Saturday Bendigo Bush foot O event at midday Saturday.

The Maldon event on Sunday morning will use a new to MTBO map, Smiths Reef, which is an existing Foot-O map.

The start/assembly area is at the old Gower State School on Castlemaine-Maldon Road. You can search for Gower State School in Google maps and it will take you there, even though the school is just a ruin these days.

As usual we will have 4 line courses ranging in distance from approx 10 km for Course 4 up to about 28km for Course 1. There is also the 2 hour Score course option if you prefer to make your own adventure and visit whichever controls you feel like.
