Learn to Orienteer in Melbourne in August

The next Learn to Orienteer in Melbourne is happening this August! It’s time to share with your friends as registrations are now open.

It’s going to be a great opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of orienteering and get introduced to orienteering events around Melbourne. Over 4 weekends in August, the Learn to Orienteer program will teach you the important skills, link you with other newcomers and give you practice navigating around Melbourne’s parks and bush. Each session will have an hour of engaging learning and then we will join in with an orienteering event to practice the new skills.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN COACHING OR INSTRUCTING?
Here’s your opportunity to take your orienteering experience to the next level. We are looking for people interested in becoming Orienteering Coaches or Instructors. It will open up opportunities for you to help introduce orienteering to new people… and get paid for it.

We are planning to give orienteers the chance to start their coaching or instructing journey during the upcoming Learn to Orienteer in Melbourne during August. You can come along and see how a Learn to Orienteer program is delivered, be introduced to accreditation on the Orienteering Learning Centre and be connected to a mentor to assist you on the exciting journey.
