Orienteering Victoria Awards Announced

The Orienteering Victoria Awards for 2025 were announced at the AGM on Friday 29 May.  The Awards page has been updated.

SERVICES TO ORIENTEERING VICTORIA – Neil Barr, for his extraordinary efforts to make all the maps for the Australian 3 Day Easter Carnival, and his involvement as part of the organising team, event advisor, and course planner for the Victorian Long Distance Championships

COACH OF THE YEAR – Martin Kozma, for his coaching and encouragement of juniors and school students, particularly in preparation for Schools Championships

PRESIDENT’S AWARD – Damian Spencer, for his commitment to, and involvement in growing participation, particularly through his support of the Learn To Orienteer (LTO) program

EVENT MANAGEMENT AWARD – to be announced

ROCKHOPPER AWARD FOR VICTORIAN RELAYS – Melbourne Forest Racers

JUNIOR ROCKHOPPER AND LYREBIRD AWARDS – to be announced
