Geelong City Race Weekend, November 21-22

Entries are now open for the inaugural Geelong City Race, taking place on Sunday 22 November 2026 as part of a full weekend of orienteering in Geelong.

The Geelong City Race brings fast-paced urban orienteering to the heart of the city, with courses taking participants through Geelong’s waterfront, parks and vibrant city streets.
Six line courses will cater for everyone from experienced competitors to those looking for a new way to explore the city on foot.

But the City Race is just one part of the weekend.

On Saturday 21 November, participants can warm up with a Sprint at Kardinia International College and then take to two wheels for MTBO at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds. On Sunday, the weekend culminates with the Geelong City Race in the city centre.

Whether you’re chasing results, looking for a different orienteering experience, or simply want to combine some navigation with a weekend in Geelong, there’s plenty of reason to make the trip.
