Events Further Afield This Summer In addition to the Park Street events here in Victoria, there are two carnivals further afield to consider competing in this summer. Xmas 5-Days Lake Macquarie / Cessnock, NSW 27 – 31 Dec A family friendly carnival, the Xmas 5-Days features start times in the cool of the early morning – giving heaps of time to head to the lake, enjoy the lakeside parks and bushland, or enjoy what the local vineyards have to offer. https://eventor.orienteering.asn.au/Events/Show/22567 Entries close 16 December. Sprint The Coast – Inclusive of the Oceania Sprint Champs for elites Central Coast, NSW 24-26 January Enjoy the Shorts & Sprint series this Spring? Then consider heading up to the Central Coast for this sprint carnival. While the elites compete for the Oceania titles, there will be 4 sprints the same terrain to provide you with a good challenge. 3 out of the 4 events are in never been used before areas. In addition to the sprints, a free score event at Terrigal beach is on offer on the Sunday morning. Interested?
