Camberwell Grammar Take Roger Slade Trophy in 2021

Congratulations to Camberwell Grammar on retaining the Roger Slade trophy this year, at the Eastern Schools Park Street orienteering competition.  The students coped admirably with the covid-driven changes, including starting early, using QR codes, and MapRun scoring, and a cancelled event due to the snap lockdown.  Our thanks to Jon Gordon, Matt Manning, David Rodgers, the school orienteering captains, and all staff and students.

Camberwell were able to bring a large number of students and that combined with their ability this year to outperform the Scotch runners got them over the line once again.

Well done to the Scotch competitors on the individual results which were much more evenly spread between the two schools.

Overall Result:

  • Camberwell Grammar School: 1164 points
  • Scotch College: 814 points

A Course: Charlie Lines-Perrier (SC) 20 points; Henry Shirrefs (CG) 20 points
