AWOC Club Championship, Sunday 2 November, Chiltern Sunday, 2nd November (Melbourne Cup ‘long weekend’) Founded in 1975, AWOC is celebrating their 50th year by returning to a classic spur-gully and gold mining map in Chiltern Forest (“Cyanide”) for this year’s club championships. Five courses including three hard (5.5, 8 and 10 km), a moderate and an easy are available. With any luck there’ll be some yummy birthday cake at the finish line.
