Vic MTBO Series Round 4 at Creswick

It was a beautiful autumn day on Sunday for the fourth round of this year’s Vic MTBO Series held at Creswick. We assembled at the RACV Goldfields resort before tackling the courses set by Eureka’s Mark Valentine out in the forest.

There are plenty of undulations on this map (ie hills) so it didn’t take long to get warmed up. Some of the fast roads are covered with those large blue stones that make it harder going, both up and down hill, and sometimes it’s a relief to take a more minor track.

Many thanks to Mark, main organiser Blake Gordon, SI guru Ian Chennell and the other Eureka club helpers for another well run event.
