Park Street Winter Series

Winter Series starts at the beginning of April each year, and finishes at the end of the following September (the non daylight savings period).

Events are on every week in metro Melbourne on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons; in the western suburbs on Tuesday evenings during Autumn; in Geelong on Saturday afternoons in June-July; and on the Mornington Peninsula, once a month on Sundays.

All courses are Score format (visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, highest points score wins).  Runners can choose a 45 minute or a 60 minute course.  For power walkers, there is a 65 minute course.  Penalties are applied for late return.

Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing.  Bring a watch and a drink, and a torch for night events.

Find out more about what happens at events by reading the Participant Guidelines.

HOW TO FIND AN EVENT (and other useful links)

HOW DO I ENTER AND CHECK IN?

You can register and pay when you arrive at the event.  Cost: $6 per event for adults, $4 for juniors (under 21).  Payment is accepted by cash or card.

You can purchase a Season Pass (discounted entry to a specified series, for club members only) or a MultiPass (upfront payment by credit card for multiple events, valid at any series). Find out more about Passes.

There is no requirement to pre-enter online. When you arrive, use the OTrack Event Entry form to register for the event.  Show the confirmation screen to Registration. We recommend adding the OTrack page to your phone screen, for fast, easy event entry.  Find out more about OTrack

We’ll assist you at Registration if needed, and can check in on your behalf if you don’t have a smartphone.

All events use MapRun, a GPS based smartphone app which you can download from your regular app store.  You can opt to use a control card and pen instead. Make sure you have the latest version of MapRun on your phone, or MapRunG on your Garmin or Apple watch.  Ask for assistance at Registration.  Find out more about MapRun

WHAT ARE THE MAPS LIKE?

Click here to view and download maps from Winter Series events.  You can practice on these maps any time, using MapRun.

HOW DO I SEE MY RESULTS?

The MapRun Leaderboard shows results as they are uploaded. These results are provisional only.  The series scorer will review them before publishing the official results and the series scores.  You can follow the official results week by week, and check the overall standings, here.  You can also see an archive of results going back for a number of years.  Presentations are made to the top three placegetters in each Division, at the end of each series.
