Park Street Winter Series Winter Series starts at the beginning of April each year, and finishes at the end of the following September (the non daylight savings period). Events are on every week in metro Melbourne on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons; in the western suburbs on Tuesday evenings during Autumn; in Geelong on Saturday afternoons in June-July; and on the Mornington Peninsula, once a month on Sundays. All courses are Score format (visit as many controls as you can in the allocated time, highest points score wins). Runners can choose a 45 minute or a 60 minute course. For power walkers, there is a 65 minute course. Penalties are applied for late return. Wear jogging/walking shoes and comfortable, light coloured clothing. Bring a watch and a drink, and a torch for night events. Find out more about what happens at events by reading the Participant Guidelines.
