Bendigo Multi Race Event July 2 & 3

Bendigo Orienteers have prepared a real treat for this weekend with two fantastic events utilising complex maps among Bendigo’s urban environment. Craig Feuerherdt is the course setter for both days, and has planned some top quality middle distance courses.

The first event will be on the Royal George map. Participants on the longer courses will be able to stretch their legs early in the course through Bendigo’s typical open terrain before moving into more technical mining terrain offering plenty of challenges and accurate navigation.

The Second event will be on the Newer St Mungo map – simple terrain complicated by vegetation. A dense track network provides easy navigation options but not necessarily the quickest and the longer courses will test participants.
