Bendigo Bush Orienteering, August 9

The bush around Bendigo is always gorgeous at this time of year, as the wattles and spring flowers start to emerge. This event offers 5 courses ranging from hard navigation to easy.

Saturday August 9 – Smith’s Reef
This is an historic gold mining area near Maldon and a favourite area for many orienteers.  The start is at the Old Gower School between Castlemaine and Maldon.
Nola Juniper and Lorraine Leversha are the course setters.
Bendigo Orienteers will also be running a ‘SI stick renaming’ activity at this event.  If you think your SI stick has the wrong name on it, then bring it along to this event and we will see what we can do.
