Ballarat Classics Series #3 – Nyaninyuk / Mt Beckworth – Sunday 30 June Nyaninyuk, in the language of the Dja Dja Warrung, also known as Mt Beckworth, is a granite mountain sticking out of the volcanic plains around Clunes. There will be some climb, but way more descending for some courses. And for something different, the courses will extend into some flat areas to the north. The whole Nyaninyuk / Mt Beckworth area is a beautiful and wonderful to place to go in order to relax and enjoy peace, birds, kangaroos, the lollipop pine tree and the majestic granite formations that tower over a magnificent north facing amphitheater arena at Cork Oaks. Eureka Orienteers invite you to Nyaninyuk / Mt Beckworth on Sunday, the 30th of June, to celebrate the recent Winter Solstice!
