Fun With Maps! Free Family Day at Abbey Walk, Vermont, Sunday 28 April

When: Sunday 28 April, 10am – 1.30pm.
Where: Abbey Walk, Heatherdale Road, Vermont
Who for: Everyone!  The day is aimed at adults wanting to try MelbushO or Saturday Series, secondary school kids hoping to take part in the Secondary Schools competition in May, and older primary school kids
Cost: Free!

Enjoy a free family day, with outdoor, map-based activities for adults and kids alike.  Perfect for anyone wanting to try a MelBushO, or a Saturday Series event. Learn some navigation basics, then practice at your own pace on our specially designed courses.  Our friendly, knowledgeable coaches will be on hand to assist, and to answer your questions.  Find out more about MapRun and Sportident.  Use a map to find Pirate Pete and his treasure chest!

All activities take place in the parkland of Abbey Walk and Campbells Croft – no roads or streets.  All maps, equipment and other materials are supplied.  Parking is along the southern end of Heatherdale Road in Vermont.  Register any time between 10am and 11am, then complete as many activities as you like, until 1.30pm.  Bring a picnic lunch!
