BikeO-75 Summer Series Lysterfield, and Vic MTBO Champs – Entries Open

The second of this year’s Bike-O 75 events is on Saturday 15 February at Lysterfield. A great chance to get out on the famous Lysterfield MTB trails for a pleasant Saturday evening ride.

This event reverts to our usual Bike-O scoring with all controls scoring 20 points and 10 points penalty for each minute, or part minute late. There will be 30 controls on the map, so plenty of choice for where riders go. There are a number of one way tracks at Lysterfield now, which means riders need to plan their route carefully. These tracks are shown on the map with direction arrows. Here is the Bike-O 75 info sheet.

These events are quite social and we encourage people to hang around after their ride to enjoy a cheese toastie, a sausage in bread and a drink while chatting with other riders about which way you tackled the event. Make sure you bring a few gold coins to cover the cost of your food and drinks.

We strongly encourage you to enter online through Eventor as this makes registration easier for competitors and our volunteer officials. If you are unable to, we are also happy to accept entries on the day.

The 2025 Vic MTBO Champs will be early this year on the weekend of 12-13 April and based around Castlemaine with Sprint, Middle and Long distance events. These championships will also be the first round of the National MTBO series and selection trials for the Australian World Champs team.

Bulletin 1 has been released containing all of the main event info. Entries are now open on Eventor.

For those riders less keen on “championships” or wanting to ride a shorter distance than your class sets, organisers are offering a range of “non-championship” Adventure classes with line or score course options. This means you can choose the course length and difficulty that appeals to you. We are hoping to see more riders enjoying the hard work put in by our organising team in offering three fantastic MTBO events over this weekend.
