Knock Out Sprint - Day 3

Be sure to stay for the Monday races which will feature the brand new Knock-Out Sprint format for elite classes planned by a sprint course setting dream team! All courses will be planned by World Sprint Champs Medalist Frederic Tranchand and Oceania Sprint Champ Brodie Nankervis.

Under 25 Competition

This year we are introducing a special competition for Under-25 competitors.
This is not just your standard competition! There will be secret split time legs, and prizes will be awarded to the overall fastest M and W competitors on these legs and on the finish sprint in the first three MSW races.

What’s at stake?

First prize overall for both M & W competitors is a complete free entry for the Easter 3 Day.

Second and third places will also receive a range of prizes including items kindly provided by Wildfire Sports.

Melbourne Sprint Weekend 2020 Embargoes

The following areas are embargoed until the completion of the Melbourne Sprint Weekend, 6.00pm Monday 9th March 2020.

Deakin University, Burwood Campus, Melbourne
No reconnoitring or training including training with one of the existing orienteering maps of the campus is permitted. Other activities including other sports events within the campus are not included in this embargo.

La Trobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne
No reconnoitring or training including training with one of the existing orienteering maps of the campus is permitted. Other activities including other sports events within the campus are not included in this embargo.

Overnewton College, Keilor, Melbourne
The Overnewton College, Keilor campus is embargoed. This campus is private property and training or walking around the campus (i.e. scouting the campus) is forbidden. For staff and students of the college other activities including other sports events within the campus are not included in this embargo.

Penola College, Broadmeadows, Melbourne
The Penola College, Broadmeadows campus is embargoed. This campus is private property and training or walking around the campus (i.e. scouting the campus) is forbidden. For staff and students of the college other activities including other sports events within the campus are not included in this embargo.

Granite Hills Park, South Morang, Melbourne
The area bounded by The Lakes Boulevard, Plenty Road, Bridge Inn Road, and  a north-south line between Wellington Street (Mernda) and Lamour Avenue (South Morang) is embargoed. All training and walking around the area (i.e. scouting the area) is forbidden.

Victoria University St Albans (VU St Albans),  Melbourne
No reconnoitring or training including training with one of the existing orienteering maps of the campus is permitted. Other activities including other sports events within the campus are not included in this embargo.
