Melbourne City Race 6, Sunday November 23 2025

The next edition of the Melbourne City Race will be held on Sunday 23 November 2025, at an exciting venue yet to be revealed!

Melbourne was the first place in the Southern Hemisphere to host a City Race, and we’re now into our 6th amazing year! You will use a full colour, highly detailed map to navigate your way around your course. Sportident controls will be in Air mode for rapid racing.

Our location will showcase history and tradition, as well as the quirky, fun features that MCR is famous for. This year we have a special guest course planner! The venue will be easily accessible using public transport or riding your bike. Toilets at the park, shops/cafes close by. Bag drop provided at Registration.

Choose any of the five courses listed below – all courses are open to any age.

Distances below are as measured by our mapping software – actual distances will be a little longer!
Course 1 – approx 10 km (hard navigation)
Course 2 – approx 8 km (hard navigation)
Course 3 – approx 6 km (hard navigation)
Course 4 – approx 4 km (moderate navigation)
Course 5 – approx 3 km (easier navigation)

Start any time between 11am and 12pm.

Entry fees: $20 Adults, $10 Juniors (13-21), $5 Kids (12 and under). Entry includes a colour map, a souvenir race bib, and loan of a Sportident timing device if required.

Once again we’ll have some fantastic prizes for the winners and placegetters, and an amazing array of random prizes for everyone who pre-enters.
