Victorian MTBO Middle and Long Distance Champs rescheduled for 2-3 June 2018.

Entries for both events are open on Eventor.

Bulletin 4 has been published to replace previous bulletins.

Additional Information

Those who had entered the original Middle Distance event are due a partial refund. This amount will be the same as the entry fee for the rescheduled event and therefore you can just select the Service Discount when entering. Most Long Distance entrants were refunded at the event.

SI Air (SIAC) will be used for these events, but is optional – you can use your normal SI stick if you prefer. You will need to pay an extra surcharge in the services section to hire an SIAC stick.

Embargo

All forest areas (not including the RACV Goldfields Resort and its golf course and mountain bike trails) in the vicinity of Creswick, Victoria: south of the Creswick-Melbourne (Dean) Road, east of the Midland Highway, and north of the Invermay-White Swan Road are embargoed until late afternoon Sunday 3 June 2018. View map of embargoed area.  This specifically includes all cycling and driving in the area with the intent to reconnoitre. Anyone who intends to compete in the Victorian MTBO Championships and who has reason to be in the area, e.g. for work or planning future orienteering events should contact Mark Valentine (EUV) at mark.valentine@ballaratbasketball.com to seek exemption/special consideration.
