Vic MTBO Series – August 11 at Macedon – Postponed to November due to weather conditions

Event postponed to November. Details of new date will follow soon.

After a bit of a winter break from MTBO it is now time to dust off your bike, crank up those pedals and start getting ready for the next event, only an hour from the CBD, on Sunday 11 August at Macedon. Entries are now open on Eventor

The event will be organised by Bayside Kangaroos with Anthony Jones setting the courses. The map contains a good mix of eucalyptus and pine forest with mostly forest tracks, dirt roads, single tracks and some urban fringe areas. There has been a number of changes to the pine forest half of the map since it was last used, but the eastern eucalyptus side of the map is pretty much the same So, forestry tracks and some single tracks are awaiting. Also, we have added a small new section to the map; something new even for those that have competed on this map before.

As usual, there are 4 line courses to choose from ranging from 12km to 25km, plus a 2 hour Score course. For juniors, there are a good number of controls quite close to the assembly area, so easy to explore the nearby tracks. Read all about the event in the Info Flyer.
