Vic Series Double Header at Mt Tarrengower

Bendigo Orienteers and Yarra Valley Orienteers have prepared a real treat for you this week, with a double header weekend at the same venue, as an ideal tune up for the Australian Championships Carnival. Both events will be held on classic granite terrain, just across the road from where the Aus Long Distance Champs will be held.

We have a beautiful arena set up for both days so encourage all clubs to bring tents and banners that can be dropped off and left up overnight. Great viewing of the spectator controls and finish. It is an easy 700m walk from the car parking to the arena.

  • 5 Courses each day have something for everyone and range from Short Easy to Long Hard. There is also a 2 hour Score course.
  • Saturday starts between 12.30pm and 2pm for regular courses. Between 12.30pm and 1pm for the Score Course.
  • Sunday starts between 10am and 12 noon for regular courses and between 10am and 10:30am for the Score Course.

As these are the final 2 Vic Autumn / Spring Series events of the year there will be a prize giving at 1pm on Sunday for Series winners and also the individual events.

Enter online via Eventor (Day 1 and Day 2) where a detailed Information Flyer is also available. Entries close this Thursday 8th September at midnight. Some enter-on-the-day will be available but map numbers may be limited.

The Victorian Raiders (Secondary Schools Squad) will be providing yummy refreshments throughout the day so please bring your cash and support them.
