Vic Autumn Series 4 and 5 Coming Up in May

The next two Vic Autumn Series events are at Mt Tarrengower (Maldon) on Sunday May 23, and at Glenlyon of Sunday May 30.  Online entries will open soon.

A detailed Information Flyer will be available for each, including details of COVID-safe practices that will be in place.

The usual five Autumn Series courses are available, ranging in length and difficulty. A Score course will also be on offer, for those looking for a different kind of challenge.

Pre-entries will remain open until the Thursday prior to the event; and remember that pre-entering puts you in the running to win a spot prize. There will be prizes for the fastest sprint to the finish in each class and the results will count towards the overall Autumn Series competition. If you missed the cutoff you can enter on the day at Registration.

Please also note:

You must check in at Registration, using a QR code. Please bring a phone with a camera or QR code scanning app. If you don’t have a phone, Registration will assist you. A “No Scan, No Start” policy applies to all Victorian orienteering events. Every attendee, including all children over 12 months, and all non-competing attendees, MUST check in, per Victorian government requirements.

The events will follow Orienteering Vic’s Covid Safe Plan: https://www.vicorienteering.asn.au/return-to-orienteering/. Please read the OV Participant Guidelines before entering.

Due to current COVID-19 requirements, PRE-ENTRY and PRE-PAYMENT IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.

SportIdent electronic timing will be used. Controls will be in “Air” mode for contactless punching. Please enter with your SIAC e-stick number, if you have one.

If you need assistance to pre-enter, please follow the instructions at https://www.vicorienteering.asn.au/events/eventor/, or contact the event organiser.
