EndurO Results

Did you last the distance? A cleverly set course by Dave Knight tested everyone’s endurance.  The high points were very gettable, but it was those 10- and 20- pointers that made all the difference to the outcome, and we saw some very close contests.

Congratulations to the winners on each of A, B and PW – Matt and Steven were tied on A course with 910 points each, but Matt got back faster. Mark snuck into third with a mere 10 point margin over Andrew.

On B, the honours went to Stephen with 660 points, ahead of Victoria and Phil.  Great to see a lot of newcomers taking the 90 minute option.

While Andrew had a comfortable win on PW with 660 points, the minor placings were hard fought for; Ros beat Rob by just 5 points, and Peter G was hard on their heels with a tiny 10 point margin keeping him out of the top three.

We hope you enjoyed the challenge!  Our next Saturday event is on May 26 in Bundoora.  While not officially a Park event, it is sure to feature Greswell Forest, as well as the many smaller parks in the vicinity.

  • JWOC Day Five – Relays

    For the relay, the first and second legs were of equal length but leg 3 was further for both courses.  There was a run through and great spectator control and a 1k loop after the run through. The girls had 5.6k or 6.2 for leg 3 and the guys had 7.1 and 8.1 for last leg.
