Summer MTBO gets underway with a downpour

The first Summer75 MTBO event at Mt Evelyn attracted a small but high quality field, with no less than two Junior World Champions in attendance.  Riders had quite a climb on their hands to get to the aqueduct, where things flattened out. Despite heavy showers, everyone came back happy, and the snags and toasties sold out quickly.

For this season we are introducing overall series scoring based on your placings at each event – best 3 scores to count, so make sure you put the other series events in your diary. The next race is at Plenty South on Saturday February 10.  The event is open to all riders and all ages.

Enter on the day – Adults $12, juniors $6.

Register by 5.45pm with starts from 6.00 to 6.15pm.

Loan mapboards will be available. Bring your Sportident stick or borrow one at Registration.

Stay for supper afterwards with cheese toasties, sausages and soft drinks available.
