Sprint into Spring 5 – Penola College

It’s a brand new map this weekend with Geoff Adams having just completed the Penola College map in time for the event. Geoff and Claire Adams are the course setters and they are not giving any hints on what the courses will be like. The college features a complex network of buildings so there is plenty of scope for a lot of tricky navigation legs.

Joe and Nathan will be holding the popular sprint training after the event again – so remember to stay on for it.

The location is 29 Gibson Street, Broadmeadows with car parking just inside the entrance to the right.

Cars coming from the west are unable to turn right from Camp Rd into Gibson Street.  So instead turn right at Walsh St (the next street) then right at the roundabout into Jacana Avenue, then left into Gibson Street.

Cars coming from the east there is no exit from the ring road at Pascoe Vale Rd.  They will need to take the Sydney Rd exit, turn right at the lights then left into Camp Rd.

Entry is on the day. Bring your SI stick and entry fee to registration and enter using one of the O-Lynx tablets. Start anytime between 1.30pm and 2.45pm.
There will be SI sticks available for loan at registration if you do not have one.

Entry fees:      $10 for Adults
$5 for Juniors (under 21)

Choose your course from:
Mo                  3.2 – 3.6km, 23-30 controls
Sally               2.0 – 2.5km, 16-20 controls
Usain              2.0 – 2.5km, 14-20 controls, easy navigation
