Saturday Park Series Starts at Darebin, April 6

Last year’s success story returns!  The popular Saturday Park Series kicks off again this weekend at Darebin Parklands, starting from the shelter at the east end of Separation Street (be prepared to park in nearby streets as the car park fills very early).  Using a full colour map, and with controls mostly in the parkland, you’ll enjoy your choice of a 60 minute or 45 minute Runners course, or a 60 minute Power Walkers course.

There are 20 controls marked on the map, with various points values. The aim is to visit as many controls as you can in the time allowed, and the winner is the person with the highest points score.  Start time is 2pm for everyone, and you can register from 1.30pm. Entry is only $5 for adults and $3 for juniors (u21), payable at Registration.  Hot drinks provided – please bring a plate of something yummy to share afterwards.
