1000 Kids Compete in Primary Schools Champs

November saw three Primary Schools Championship events held – the Western Zone held at Brimbank Park, the Eastern Zone at Maroondah Reservoir Park, and the brand new Cobaw District Schools event, at Hanging Rock. Over 1000 excited Grade 3-6 primary school kids took part, as individuals or pairs.  Many schools run an orienteering program leading up to these events, which give the kids a chance to put their newly-learned navigation skills to the test.
