MelbushO at Bullengarook, Sunday May 26 A big crowd enjoyed a lovely late autumn day in the bush of Bullengarook. Courses were on the challenging side, but most handled the terrain pretty well. With vague contours, holding a bearing through the vegetation was a necessary skill. Thanks to Central Highlands, who put on a great event (and turned up the temperature). Results Winsplits – apologies, the site is not allowing uploads at the moment MelBushO events are the perfect way to get started in bush orienteering without travelling far from Melbourne – a great for kids and families to enjoy the outdoors and learn some new skills while getting down and dirty! You can choose your own start time between 10am and 11.30am, and opt for any of the four courses. No pre-entry is required – just come along on the day and enter at Registration. We provide coaching, course advice, and loan of a compass and an electronic timing device (SI stick). Adults $10, under-21s $5. The next event is at Emerald Lake on Sunday June 17.
