Geelong, Macedon Finalists Ready for Champs; More Qualifiers This Week

Three more qualifying events took place this week, at Cairnlea, Sunbury, and Corio.  Another 12 finalists joined the first fifteen, bringing the total to 31 – including five from Macedon Ranges, and four from Geelong.  It was great to see Archie and Sophie joining James, to contest the Junior category.

With another four qualifying events this week, we should have a fiercely contested Champs final on the 28th.  You can aim for a Finals berth at Mentone Racecourse on a brand new map on Monday, old favourite Williamstown on Tuesday, crowd pleaser Canterbury Trails on Wednesday, or in the parklands at Darebin on Thursday.  Please note there is NO qualifier at Waterford Valley, as shown in the printed fixture.

We also welcomed back our regular schools Camberwell Grammar, Scotch College, and Trinity Grammar, to the Wednesday series.  If last week is anything to go by, they will have a fantastic competition over the next few weeks.  We look forward to seeing the results.
