Our hugely popular series of bush events close to Melbourne returns for another year!  Held on Sunday mornings, MelBushO events are a fantastic way to learn to orienteer in the forest, without travelling too far from home.  MelBushO events offer five different courses to suit all abilities.  Newcomers, kids, families and groups are all welcome, with coaching and equipment loan included in your entry fee.

To minimise time spent queuing up to register and pay at the event, please use our convenient online entry and payment system, Eventor.  Please help us stay safe by pre-entering and pre-paying online.  On the day entry is possible, but spare maps will be limited.  Once you have an Eventor login and password, entering an event and payment by PayPal is quick and easy; when you arrive, you simply collect your pre-ordered map and start your adventure!

How to register and enter an event using Eventor:

Choose any of the five courses: Course 1 (Long Hard); Course 2 (Medium Hard); Course 3 (Short Hard); Course 4 (Moderate) or Course 5 (Easy). Coaching and assistance is available for newcomers.

Start times: 10.00am-11.30am.
Course closure – all courses close at 1.00pm. You must return to the Finish before then, even if you haven’t completed your course.

Entry fees: Adults $12.00, Juniors (under 21) $6.00. Each member of a family or group must enter individually; a family cap of $30 will be automatically applied to all family members who enter and pay at the same time.

Please ensure that your entry details include a contact phone number, which is a requirement for participation.

Sportident electronic timing will be used. Controls will be in “Air” mode for contactless punching. Please enter with your SIAC e-stick number, if you have one. Regular SI sticks will also work. Sportident sticks will be available for loan.

MelbushO events will follow the Orienteering Victoria Covid Safe Plan: Please read the OV Participant Guidelines before entering this event.

You must not attend this event if you are unwell with covid symptoms, are waiting for test results, or are otherwise required to quarantine or isolate. Your entry fee will be fully refunded if you are unable to attend in order to comply.
