Easter in NZ

Over Easter there was a choice of events to attend, the Easter carnival in Tasmania, or the New Zealand National Champs in Auckland which gave another opportunity to run on the WMOC maps. This was too tempting for a few people and there was a small contingent who headed across to New Zealand for the event.

Overall the Australians were quite successful filling up a number of the podium places over the weekend. Most successful was Victoria’s Ted vanG, who running for his NZ club in order to be an ‘official’ contender for the titles, won both the M60A Long and Sprint titles and came third in the middle and club relay.
