Eel Race EndurO, Saturday June 25 – Are You Ready?

Our second EndurO for 2022 is on Saturday June 25, on a new, and very different map – Eel Race, in Seaford, featuring the  waterways of Patterson Lakes, and the wedge between the Edithvale Wetlands and the bay.  This is third time lucky for this map, having been fixtured in 2020 and 2021, so it’s very exciting to have it finally go ahead!

The start location is Riviera Reserve, off Eel Race Road.  Once again, this will be a true test of your physical fitness and mental agility.  Everything is doubled up – except the price, which remains $5. You get 40 controls, an A3 map, and twice as long to complete the course. Start any time between 1.30pm and 2.00pm. Choose a 120 min Run, a 90 min Run, or a 120 min Power Walk. Bring your phone with MapRun6 installed.

You’ll need to park on Eel Race Road, east of the entrance to the reserve, with good parking in front of the Secondary College (250m walk). The nearest toilets are at Carrum Station, so plan a pit stop (toilets at the reserve will be locked). You’ll have 40 controls to choose from, and up to 2 hours to complete your course, which will take in Patterson Lakes, Seaford, and the edge of the Edithvale wetlands. You may start any time between 1.30pm and 2.00pm.
