Beechworth MTBO Weekend April 4-5

A fantastic double-header weekend is planned for April in Beechworth and Stanley over the weekend of 4th and 5th April.

A sprint event at the old Mayday Asylum site in Beechworth will be held on the Saturday afternoon followed by a Long distance event on Sunday morning at Stanley. Both of these events will double as selection trials for our Australian MTBO team heading to this year’s World Champs in Czech in August.

The Stanley event will also be the first round of this year’s Vic MTBO Series, and for those who rode at Stanley last year, we will be using different parts of the large Stanley map this time. As usual, there will be a casual dinner in Beechworth on the Saturday night, so try and book your accom around Beechworth. Accommodation info.

The Albury Wodonga club through Leigh Privett and Rick Armstrong are planning most of the weekend with some help from Kathy Liley (YV) and a few of us from other clubs. Feel free to lend a hand over the weekend if you can.

Entries are open now on Eventor. Don’t forget to tick the box at the end of each event line so you can enter and pay for both events in one hit. More details in the Information bulletin.
