A weekend of BushO – 17-18 August There are bush events both days this coming weekend, and both of them feature VIC juniors as co-course setters. First up is the Bendigo BushO at Mosquito Creek on Saturday with course setters Archie and David Neylon. Mosquito Creek is a great area to hone your skill of staying on course. The area has very subtle contour detail making it important to stay on your compass bearing and read the map carefully know what you are expecting to see, and also look at the map either side to help you know if you have drifted off line. On Sunday the Eureka Winter Series continues with CHOC running the event at Blow Hole, Hepburn with course setters being Sophie and Wendy Taverna. The area is classic spur gully with the start at Bryce’s Flat picnic ground – there are three courses are on offer, long hard, short hard and short moderate. Why not make it a day out and drop into Daylesford for lunch and exploring afterwards. Share this
