2018 New Zealand MTBO Champs Trip

The NZ MTBO Champs next April is our chance to reclaim the Aus-NZ Challenge title for Australia and indulge in the nearest and cheapest OS holiday for most of us.

Four MTBO events are planned from Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 April – a Warm-up event, Sprint, Long and Middle, with all events around Alexandra on the South Island. There will also be a bike or foot Rogaine on Sat 28th. There are also 4 Foot O events from the 21 to 24th at Dunedin, Wanaka and Queenstown. See the website www.mtbochamps.nz

Leigh Privett is organising an Australian Travel Group which will include transport by mini buses with bike trailers and accommodation. People can make their own arrangements or be part of the group. The tour will start in Christchurch on 23 April and finish there, probably on 29 April.

Leigh advises people to start planning now as this time is during NZ school holidays. He is wanting to hear from interested people now. Please contact him on [email protected] or 0416 278 488.

Information about nominating for the Australian team will appear in early December.
