Equipment Shop

How do you get the equipment you may need for orienteering?  We have the answers here:

The "O Shop"

Kevin has his trailer/shop at most bush orienteering events and can supply compasses, shoes and protective gear.

Orienteering Services of Australia

OsoA ( Orienteering Service of Australia) supply orienteering gear, compasses and sell maps on behalf of the orienteering clubs.

SportIdent stick purchases

SI sticks will be available at registration at most bush events, otherwise people may ring Robyn Sunderland on (03) 5367 5374.

Prices are roughly cost to OV so they vary depending on the AUD/Euro exchange rate when stocks were obtained.

General Outdoor Equipment

The Wilderness Shop in Box Hill (http://www.wildernessshop.com.au/) has a large range of gear.  They offer a 10% discount to OV members and have regular special buying nights (check the O-Bulletin periodically for details).

Australian Orienteer magazine

The Australian Orienteer is issued quarterly and all full members receive a copy as part of your Orienteering Victoria membership.  Extra copies are available for $7.50 + postage and packaging from the editor (contact Mike: mikehubbertATozemail.com.au).  Check this link for details of the latest edition and subscription options for non-members:  http://www.orienteering.asn.au/australianorienteer
