Macedon Ranges Street-O commences at Gisborne
Tuesday, 6 December 2011
19 competitors enjoyed a cool and dry run around Gisborne on a demanding course set by Mark Hennessy. We welcomed some new faces across the fruit bowl at the completion of the event.
With the assembly area at almost the lowest point on the map there is little choice but to start with a climb and finish with a downhill run. The pine trees on the north-east of the map provided their usual challenge to negotiate the paths and locate the controls.
RESULTS:
Course A 1. Warwick Davis 2. Jeremy Hirst 3. Geoff Caddick 4. Jon Sutcliffe 5. John-Joe Wilson 6. Thorlene Egerton 7. Don Fell Course
B 1. Mary Fleming 2. Hughes Little 3. Katie Marshall 4. Henry Post Course
C 1. Finn De Lacy 2. Mick Wilson Power Walkers 1. Michael Hayward 50pts 2. Des Gregory 30pts 3. Deidre Marshall 12pts 4. David Goodie 10pts 5. Judy Goodie 10pts 6. Amanda Goodie 10pts
