Millenium Club member Mike Hubbert
On Tuesday 17th November 2009, at the Kensington event of the Western Summer Series, Mike Hubbert became the second person to complete 1000 metropolitan Melbourne Street-O events since the start of this millennium.
In fact, Mike's participation in street orienteering goes well beyond 1000 events as he has been participating in Street-O since its inception in the late 70's, when it was developed as an off-season activity for Melbourne based bush orienteers.
Mike also has a long standing involvement with the development and administration of orienteering and is currently editor of the Australian Orienteering magazine.
Mike joins Geoff Hudson as the only Legend members of The Millennium Club and presentations will be made at a Dinner to be held during the 2010 Autumn Series.
Congratulations Mike on a well earned milestone.
