Welcome to the Orienteering Victoria website. Orienteering Victoria is the governing body for orienteering in Victoria and actively supports the many forms of orienteering carried out in a wide variety of locations around Victoria.

Trophy Winners Australian Champs Carnival 2009

The OA Shield (best State at the Australian Long Distance Championships) was won by ACT, followed by host state Victoria and NSW.

Points:  ACT 57, VIC 45, NSW 40, TAS 37, QLD 30, WA 12, SA 11

The Xanthorrhea Trophy (best State at the Australian Relay Championships) was also won by ACT, with Victoria not able to capitalise on home ground advantage.

Points:  ACT 23, NSW 19, QLD 16, TAS 14, VIC 10, WA 5, SA 2

The Victoria/South Australia Challenge (Dexter-Palmer Trophy) was won convincingly by Victoria, taking 12 classes to 6.  Can Victoria retain the trophy next year when the competition moves to the Barossa Valley?

Victoria won two of the National League team trophies - Senior Women and Junior Men.  Max Neve won the Junior Men's Individual title, with Kathryn Ewels and Jasmine Neve taking 2nd and 3rd in the Senior Womens category.  Aislinn Prendergast was the Junior Womens runner up.  Congratulations!  Details are on the Orienteering Australia website.
